WhatsApp Message Pricing Update: Service & Utility
Meta is updating the charges for Service and Utility conversations/messages on the WhatsApp Business Platform, effective October 1, 2026.
As referenced in our 4 August 2026 release note, the updated Service and Utility charges are as follows:

The first 1,000 service messages per phone number per month are FREE.
All Utility messages are charged at the rate above, regardless of whether they fall inside or outside the 24-hour window.
With WhatsApp Coexistence, your team can keep messaging for FREE through the WhatsApp Business App.
This update does not affect Marketing message pricing.
The new rates will be reflected automatically in your iSlash AI account from October 1, 2026.
