Managing Customer Contacts in iSlash AI

Think of the "Customers" section as your contact list—similar to the contacts on your phone. Each entry represents a customer, but not all customers will have an active chatroom.


Under Broadcasts Campaign, these customer contacts can be filtered out by labels.


Import Customer Contacts

Add a single customer
  1. Go to "Customers", click "+Add".


  1. Provide the contact information:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • WhatsApp Number



Add Customer Contacts in Bulk

Importing multiple customer contacts at once, involves the use of Excel templates.


Important Tip: To ensure customer info is imported correctly into iSlash, please export customer info from iSlash, make changes, and import the updated file to avoid errors or duplication.

  1. To download the Excel template, find and tab on the "Export" button.

  1. In the drop down menu, click "Customer Info" to download the Customer Info Excel template.

  2. Sort and insert your customer contact info into the Excel template without changing the original arrangement and format.


Important Note on Phone Number Format: Use [country code + phone number]

  • No spaces or "+".

  • Example: 85298765432. (852 is Hong Kong country code, 98765432 is Hong Kong phone number)


Important Note on Phone Numbers: To Ensure No Duplicate of Phone Numbers


  1. Once you have the updated Excel file, go to "Import", click "Customer Info"

  1. Upload your updated Excel file, then click "Import".

  1. System will import your customer contacts:

  • Updating Existing Customers' Information - please include the iSlash Customer ID.

  • Adding New Customer Contacts - for entries without iSlash Customer ID, system will identify the record as a new customer contact.


Important Note: If the WhatsApp number matches an existing customer contact but has no customer ID, the old record will be marked as "Out of Service", and a new customer is created.
