WhatsApp Form

WhatsApp Flows or as being referred to in iSlash AI Platform, WhatsApp Form, is a WhatsApp Business API feature, that enable businesses to send form within a WhatsApp conversation.

Prerequisites:

  • 1. Completed WhatsApp Business API Integration

  • 2. Completed Business Verification and maintain a high message quality.


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Have an idea of WhatsApp Flow you would like to create, be it for collecting customer data (to capture new leads, offer personalized rewards), conducting survey or getting customer feedback.

We will demonstrate the process of creating a Customer Feedback Form.

This Customer Feedback Form will include two questions:

  1. Would you recommend us to a friend?

    To be answered with Single Choice function, where user is to pick one.

  2. How could we do better?

    To be answered with Paragraph function, where user can type free text.


  1. Visit WhatsApp Flows Playground at this link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/flows/playground/

    and begin to build your WhatsApp Flow at the WhatsApp Flows Playground :

You will observe the existing content at the Playground, which are the two existing "Screens", including "Feedback 1 of 2" and Feedback 2 of 2".

  1. Begin by editing the Screen title under "Edit content", in this case, we are updating the Screen title to "Your Feedback Matters!".

  1. Next, we will update the "Small Heading" to "Would you recommend us to a friend?".

  1. Right after the Small Heading, we will amend the Single Choice to say "Please rate:".

  1. For the Options, let's update to 1 ⭐ to 5 ⭐, as followed:

  1. Moving on to second part of the feedback form, we have a Small Heading that says "How could we do better?";

    We will keep the Paragraph for user to type free text for their comments.

  1. Now that we have completed the two questions, we can go ahead and delete the 2nd screen "Feedback 2 of 2".

  1. Copy Flow JSON: click on this button to copy the Flow JSON for WhatsApp Form creation at iSlash AI Platform.

  1. Now, logon to iSlash AI Platform, go to Settings > WhatsApp Form > Create:

  1. At the pop up window, give a name to your WhatsApp Form:

  1. Then select a category: Survey, and click "Create".

  1. Once you have clicked "Create", paste the Flow JSON earlier (Step 9) at the empty space, and click "Save":

  1. Prior to publishing, click "Preview" button at the top right corner to review and check the WhatsApp Form, then you may proceed to publish.


Sending a WhatsApp Form

You can send your WhatsApp Flow once you've created it. Through iSlash, we take WhatsApp Flows to the next level by integrating them with other powerful tools:
