Onboarding WhatsApp Coexistence
WhatsApp Coexistence is Meta’s latest enhancement that allows a single phone number to be used simultaneously on both the WhatsApp Business App and the WhatsApp Cloud API. This means businesses can keep using their familiar mobile app while unlocking automation and omnichannel capabilities through iSlash AI, without needing a new number or undergoing migrations.

To qualify for Coexistence, your WhatsApp Business App setup must meet Meta’s rules:
Link a Facebook Page to the WhatsApp Business App
WhatsApp Business App Version 2.24.17 or Newer
Step-by-Step Guide
Logon to iSlash AI Platform at https://app.islash.io/
Go to Settings:

Go to Channels and Click on "+" to create a new channel.
Fill in the following details and Click Save:

Rename to "WhatsApp Coexistence".
Select the appropriate time zone for your business.
Under the Platform section, select "WhatsApp Official API (iSlash)".
Once you have selected "WhatsApp Official API (iSlash)", you will find 2 new options:
Tick to enable "WhatsApp Business (Coexistence)"
Click "Save".

Click "Continue with Facebook".

An external window by Meta will pop up. You will either be required to log in to your Facebook account, or simply click “Continue”.

Complete the following selections and click "Next":

Business portfolio
WhatsApp Business account - select "Connect a WhatsApp Business App".
Enter your WhatsApp Business phone number and click "Next":

At your WhatsApp Business APP, you will receive a message from the verified Facebook Business. Click "Connect":

Tap the Connect to the Business Platform button to continue the onboarding process.

Tap the Confirm button in the app to give the business the option to share their chat history with you.

Next, perform a QR code scan:

Once completed, continue the process by click "Next" and "Confirm":


Click "Finish":

You have successfully onboarded WhatsApp Business to iSlash AI Platform.
