Conversions API (CAPI) is a tool that lets your website or server send important customer actions —like purchases or sign-ups —directly to platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

It works alongside browser tools like pixels but is more reliable because it doesn’t depend on cookies, which can be blocked. Linking dataset between iSlash AI platform and your Facebook Ad Manager helps improving campaign performance.

Setup Requirements

  1. Facebook Page is connected to iSlash AI Platform.

  2. You must be the page admin/owner. You can check your role here:

CAPI is a feature that helps tracking customer actions more accurately across all messaging channels—like WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram DM, and your website chat. Linking dataset between iSlash AI platform and your Facebook Ad Manager helps improving campaign performance.

It also works well with tools like Click to Messenger and Click to WhatsApp, so you can track results from your messaging campaigns more accurately.

Step-by-step Guide
  1. Logon to iSlash AI Platform at https://app.islash.io/

  2. Go to to Settings:

At iSlash AI Platform, go to setting


  1. At left panel menu, scroll down and click "Conversions".


  2. At top right corner, click "Link Dataset".


  3. A "Facebook Login for Business" window will pop up, proceed to grant access to iSlash:

    • Choose the Page(s)

    • Choose the ad account(s)

    • Choose the Instagram account(s)

    • Set up your data > Create

    • Confirm the Page and Instagram Account you want iSlash to access

    • Review and accept policy related to Meta advertising.

    • Review what iSlash is requesting to access > Save.


  4. At iSlash pop up window:

    • Select a page to integrate iSlash

    • Select a dataset


  5. Dataset is linked!
