Prerequisites Before Broadcasting
Before you launch your campaign, make sure you’ve prepared the essentials:
WhatsApp Business API Access
Broadcasting at scale requires the WhatsApp Business API, which you can upgrade to for free with iSlash AI.
Approved Message Templates
WhatsApp requires pre-approved templates for outbound campaigns. Draft templates that are clear, customer-friendly, and in line with WhatsApp policies.
Opt-in Customer List
Always broadcast to an audience who has consented to receive messages from you. This protects your reputation and ensures higher engagement.
Segmentation Strategy
Prepare your audience lists based on relevance, such as new leads, existing customers, VIP clients, or inactive users, so your message resonates with each group.
Step-by-step Guide
Enter Sequence Broadcast & Creating Subscriber List
Logon to iSlash AI Platform at https://app.islash.io/
From the top banner menu, go to Broadcasts and click "Create",
at the drop down menu, select "Sequence Broadcast":
You have entered the Sequence Broadcast function:
To start, please create a subscriber list.
Go to "Subscriber List" tab and click "+" to create:
Proceed to setup these parameters:
Name- Update the name of this subscriber list.
Platform- Select WhatsApp from the drop-down list.
Contacts- Click "Select Contacts" to open up a Select Contact window, use filter & search function to find the list of contacts.
Click "Save" when setup is done.
Creating Sequence Broadcast
Go to "Sequence Broadcast" tab and click "create" to start:
Proceed to setup these parameters:
Name- Update the name of this sequence broadcast.
Platform- Select a WhatsApp API channel from the drop-down list.
Subscriber List- Select a subscriber list.
Status- Active/ Inactive
Scroll down to start designing the broadcast sequence:
Setting up Broadcast #1
Proceed to setup these parameters:
Name- Update the name of the first broadcast.
Distribute Coupon- Enable/ Disable
Message- Select an approved message template
Attach Label After Sent- Select a label to attach after sending this broadcast.
Send After- Setting the time to send broadcast, after # of hours/days.
Once completed, proceed to create the Broadcast #2:
To add, click "+ Add Broadcast"
Proceed to create broadcast sequence as required.
You can rearrange and delete the Broadcasts as required to.
Once completed, click "Create" to save.
Your broadcasts will be scheduled and sent out.
Sequence Broadcasts that has been sent out will be reflected in the Broadcasts List, with label on Sent by: Sequence Broadcast.
