Prerequisites Conditions
To qualify for Groups API on your WhatsApp Business API, your business must either -
Have a messaging limit of at least 100,000 business-initiated conversations in a rolling 24-hour period
Quick Facts
Groups are invite-only.
Users are in control of whether to join the group or not; users join by clicking on the group invite link sent by businesses.
Users cannot be added into the group involuntarily.
Max group participants: 8.
Each group can include only 1 WhatsApp API contact.
WhatsApp API account cannot join Groups API created by another API contact.
Groups API does not support these actions:
Hide group participant list
Edit/Delete message
Marking message as read
Groups API uses per-message pricing model,
e.g. in a group with 5 WhatsApp users,
5 delivered messages are charged for each recipients.
Step-by-step guide
Logon to iSlash AI Platform at https://app.islash.io/
Go to Chats:

Click on "+" to create a new chat;
at the pop-up window, under "Channel", select an eligible WhatsApp API channel.
(Refer Prerequisite Conditions above)
Once you have selected a WhatsApp Business API channel that is eligible for Groups API, you will be able to select "Group Chat":

Group Name: Create a name for this new WhatsApp Group.
Group Description: Provide description to this group.
(You'll be able to amend this afterwards)
Once completed, click "Create".

Your Group on WhatsApp API has been created.
Find all Groups at the left side panel:
To invite user, go to the right panel and copy the invitation link:

Users are in control of whether to join the group or not:
Your customers can join by clicking on the group invite link.Max group participants: 8.

Customer Service Conversation:
When any WhatsApp user in the group messages you, a customer service window is opened between you and the entire group (or is refreshed, if one already exists). You can then send utility and marketing template messages, or free form messages, for free.Business-initiated Message:
If there are 6 Group Members, when sending Business-initiated Message and it is delivered to all 6 Group Members, you would be charged for 6 delivered messages.
To remove a Group Member, find the "Remove from Group" button at the right panel:
Note that, once removed, the WhatsApp user will not be able to return to the same group.
